What data we collect
Only the data you voluntarily provide in the appointment request form:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Phone number, if you provide one
- Requested specialty, if you select one
- The content of the message you write
The site uses no cookies, installs no analytics system and does not profile visitors.
Please do not write detailed clinical information in the form. To book an appointment we only need your name, a contact and the specialty you are looking for. Clinical matters belong in the consultation itself.
What we use the data for
Solely to contact you back and schedule the appointment you requested. We do not use your data for advertising, we send no newsletters, and we do not pass it to third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, given by ticking the box in the form — Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
If your message happens to contain health-related data on your own initiative, processing is carried out under Article 9(2)(h) of the same regulation, for the provision of healthcare, and is covered by the professional secrecy to which our practitioners are bound.
Who has access
The clinical secretariat and the healthcare professional involved in scheduling.
Technically, a request sent through the form passes through the service hosting this website and the e-mail service used by the clinic. These providers act as processors and handle the data only in order to deliver the message to the clinic.
Specifically: Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the site and receives the form, and Resend, which delivers the message to our mailbox. Both act solely as technical intermediaries and do not use your data for their own purposes.
For how long
Appointment requests are kept for 12 months and then deleted. If the appointment goes ahead, the necessary data becomes part of the clinical record, which follows the statutory retention periods for health records.
Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you may exercise the following rights:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Ask for incorrect data to be corrected
- Ask for your data to be deleted
- Ask for processing to be restricted
- Object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before then

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), the Portuguese supervisory authority.
Embedded map
The contact page shows a map provided by OpenStreetMap. When that map loads, your IP address is transmitted to OpenStreetMap, which uses it to deliver the map imagery. No cookies are set. If you prefer to avoid this, use the Google Maps link instead, or simply refer to the address shown.
Security
All communication with this site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to appointment requests is limited to the people who need them in order to schedule the appointment.
Changes to this policy
If we change the way we handle data, we will update this page and the date shown at the top.
